My name is Amanda and I live in Putnam County, WV. I started sewing as a Girl Scout and was always doing crafty projects with my mom, Robin. I sewed clothing for myself and my girls when they were small. I never sewed as a business until I started making masks for friends and family back in March 2020 when COVID-19 reared its ugly head. I had so many requests that I built a business around mask-making. Up until then, I had sewn about 3 zippers in total and I had major anxiety around them. After selling about 5,000 masks, I decided I would tackle zippers and through the help of YouTube, I learned the techniques of sewing zippers. That new skill then led me to the bag making community on social media. Corona Fashion is an officially registered business in the state of West Virginia.
I began this business as a mom with a sewing machine who put her sewing skills to use during a pandemic. I have since grown my business to include handbags, backpacks, wallets, dice bags, scrub caps, car trash bins, and many other items. I love to take on custom orders.
